Carroll County, Kentucky
My great-uncle, Allen Brooks, who, at one time lived Shelby Co, Ky, (Florida since the 1970s),
told me that his family owned the farm, or lived on a farm, where the Ky River empties into the Ohio River at Carrollton.

Obviously, the 2 buildings in the photo below do not match the building in the photo above.
However, to the right of these buildings, up about about 25 feet, is level spot where a building had been,
a spring house remains into the side of the hill and old steps down to the old road, which now stops (see guardrail far right).
