There's no truth to the rumor that John Cameron Swayze was really Mr Connelly.
Mr Swayze, as you recall, was famous for the TV commercials for Timex watches, with his catchphrase,
"It take a licking, and keeps on ticking."   Actually, I'm starting that rumor, here.
