The May Meeting was called to order by President Dave Dinsmore at the Ramada Inn. We had a rowdy attendance.

A few of us went to the Pre- Derby Hopewell Museum Derby Party. We had a great time “The Torques” was as lively as ever. Strong drinks, Great Music, Good Friends, Good Food, Great night.

We pulled a quick drive up to Bruins on the one Sunny Sunday we have had not many could make it but the ones that did had fun.

The Derby Party was a also a fun evening . Thanks to Don and a few others the board sold for 161.00. Kaye bought the winner “Mind That Bird” for 2.00 with a return for her investment of 96.00. Steve does have a wife which we all enjoyed meeting and she and Diane are up for Chefs of the year!!

And leave at 2:30 to park together. Weather permitting we will discuss

a short drive after the show and of course dinner somewhere!

               Member Tonya Lewis is Chairperson for the Downtown Association sponsoring these Cruise Ins first Sat of every month May thru Oct 2009. June will feature CORVETTES. We will have special parking and all that. The Lexington  group will leave from Ramada Inn (as this is our potential sponsor now) at 11:45 travel South and pick up the Richmond group at Exit 87.
