The March meeting was called to order by President Big Smith at the Ramada Inn. It is so nice to have a “Rebel Home” and a dining room almost all to our self! Thanks again Ron for organizing this facility for us.

OLD BUSINESS: The Carl Casper event was cancelled due to lack of interest and other conflicts.

St Patrick’s Day Parade was voted not to participate. Aren’t we glad since the day was rainy and cold.

March 27-28 – Sevierville Corvette Xpo- We will depart The Ramada Inn on N Broadway @12:00 noon on Friday March 27.

Ron has reservations of 10 rooms and will cancel any room that has not been transferred as of March 25. This is the list that I have that is going and how many nights they said they were staying:

April 10-11  Makers Mark Weekend –  We will be going downtown Lexington to celebrate Bourbon on Friday evening. There is a band and cash bar and lots of dancing and socializing. You will need tickets they are 10.00 each and have to be purchased by an Ambassador. An Ambassador can get up to 6 tickets and we have enough in the club we can accommodate all. So by the

April 2 meeting if you are not an Ambassador and want to join in please have your monies and we will see that you get a ticket. We will also discuss time and meeting arrangements at the meeting. On Sat (weather permitting) we will cruise down to the distillery

for the day. Arrangements also will be discussed at meeting.

April 23-25 C5 – C6 Bash in Bowling Green

April 25 – PreDerby Party featuring The Torgues in Paris, Ky at The McConnell Real Estate Bldg. $50.00 per person and Kaye will have details for the tickets when available. This is one fun evening. Cash Bar, Appetizer Buffet included. Silent Auction just lots of fun!!

May 2 Derby Party – Gregg & Sue Ann will have a sign up sheet for potluck at April meeting and details to follow. BUT SAVE THE DATE!!

At the end of our last meeting some of you might not know we had the case of the missing keys. Ron and I stayed with Sue Ann and Gregg because SOMEBODY took Sue Ann’s car keys. So twice around we all 4 looked in the bar, “Are your keys there Sue Ann” – No in the meeting room “ Are your keys there Sue Ann” – No In your purse, “ Are your keys there Sue Ann – No all the time Sue Ann is saying No I know they are not in the car. So I took Gregg and Sue Ann home and after no sleep that night Sue Ann makes it back to the hotel with her extra keys “ Were your keys in your car Sue Ann?  - Yes they were! So all worked out okay and nobody stole her car. Sorry Sue Ann no new car for you.

So wonder who is in running for the DA award already this year!!

Condolences go out to Tony and Martha Lynn for the loss of his Aunt.
