 Newsletter December 2006 Our December meeting was held at Guaranteed Pest Control with 16 members present. After the meeting we invaded Ruby Tuesday’s for dinner. By the time you get this, the Christmas Party will be in the history book. Hopefully someone will remember what happened so I can put it in next month’s news letter. Dec 16th-The Golf Course in Winchester to watch the UK & U of L play. Game starts at 1:30. Be at the golf course around 12:30 or 1:00. NEW YEAR’S EVE-We are going to rock the New Year in at Cumberland Lake State Park. Tell them if you are a State employee and you will get your room for $44.95. Tell them you are with the Jeff Wright group and you will get your room for $44.95. There will be a prime rib buffet dinner for $20.00, a party for $35.00 (BYOB, mixers and munchies will be provided) and breakfast on New Year’s Day for $7.00. For reservations call Daren 800-325-1709. We already have 10 rooms reserved. Jan 13th-Norm and Diana will become Mr. And Mrs. Norm Honaker. Jan-3rd week-Nashville week-end except for Sue Ann who has tickets for Dancing with the Stars. Jan 27th-The Drifters and the Platters or the Platters and the Drifters will be performing in Danville. We need to get our reservations in for this. Feb-Valentines Dances sponsored by Xi Delta Nu Sorority. Everyone is welcome. More info will follow. Martha Lynn opened the floor for any other nominations for officers and go figure---there were none. The T & T show will be in charge. Judy Meiners-Secretary, Juanita-Treasurer, Ann Wilson-Public Relations, Sue Ann James-Scrap Book and Wanda Hunt-Web Master. Lucy has a sample of a jacket that had been embroidered with the club logo. The jackets cost $48.00 plus a one time $35.00 set up fee. Lucy will ask the lady that does the work to come to the January meeting and bring samples (polo samples for Tony M) and answer our questions. We also voted that the club would pay the $35.00 set up fee. We now have our own Beer Cheese entrepreneur. Dwayno! Good Job!
