August 2006

The monthly meeting of the Rebel Corvettes of the Bluegrass was held on August 3rd at Chester Ray’s business with 23 members present.  We went to Beef O’Brady’s for dinner after the meeting and the food was excellent.  Thanks Chester for allowing us the use of your building and thanks Danny for making the arrangements for dinner.

A big Rebel congratulations to Norm and Diana as they are now engaged to be married.  Be sure and wear your sun glasses when you look at Diana’s ring.   Good job Norm on the ring and the girl!!

I think we had 9 cars that traveled to the Green River Show.   We missed club participation by 1 car.  (I’m trying to make that one person that planned on going, then backed out feel guilty).  It was hot, hot, hot but we had a great time with good food and good friends.  Most of our cars won a plaque for top 30 and we all won door prizes.  We sang Happy Birthday to Sue Ann and had cake in her honor.
