![]() Newsletter April 2006 A Big Rebel Welcome to new members, Mike and Lori Pawley and their ’98 Red Convertible. Per Pat Ball, everything is going according to schedule for the Car Show on the 29th. The club is going to present the Ken Beasley Memorial Trophy for the best Corvette. Some of our guys are judging but not Vettes. Our club cars will be on display and not eligible for any awards. Let’s show our support for the car show and Jeff Sachs’ dealership. Meet at Palomar Shopping Center at 7:30 A.M. This is for the guys. I think that we Lady Rebels will make our entrance at a little later time. Wear blue club shirts. The weather outside was frightful And we decided that it was not so delightful To get our cars all wet and dirty After all, we don’t want to look nerdy! In other words, we bailed on the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Some of us decided to broaden our cultural horizons by going to the Bluegrass Music Program at the Leeds Theater in Winchester. We were like Mikie!!   WE LIKED IT! Wanda Hunt got a little ticked off because after every song she got all ready to clap and whop it up for Rocky Top and Bam — NO Rocky Top! For some strange reason we all related to the Moron Brothers real well. Next meeting will be at Cooking by George on Alexandria Drive on May 4th at 7:00. Good Good Food!
