The January meeting of the Rebel Corvettes of the Bluegrass was held on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Guaranteed Pest Control with 18 friends and members present. We welcome Diana Disponette to the club. We all know Diana and are happy to have her join us. Thanks Norm for introducing Diana to us! Lucy gave her report on the Christmas Party. There was a balance of $62.24 after all bills were paid and a profit of $209.77 from the silent auction leaving us a balance of $275.01 to use for next year’s party. Kaye and Danny took the left over food to the Hope Center for which the residents there were very grateful and Danny delivered the toys. Upcoming events: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!! Feb 5th 5:00 p.m. Super Bowl party at the home of Bill and Wanda Hunt. Chili will be served and bring a dish. BYOB – mixers will be provided. Feb 26th - Carl Casper Show in Louisville. Meet at Jeff Sachs in Frankfort at 12:00 noon. We will run through the show and eat at the King Fish on the way home. Mar 11th - St. Patrick’s Day Parade June 9th-10th-11th - Branson Car Show-might go a day early and go to Eureka Springs. We discussed the Cruise-In we are going to do for Sachs. Jerry is going to check the dates on other events and we will choose a date at our next meeting. Sachs will provide food, DJ and whatever we need and they are open to any date. This year we will be having an award for the most miles driven. This is based on miles driven to events and meetings and will not include your regular driving. The miles will be calculated from your home. There will be a sign in sheet at all meetings to mark if you have driven your Vette. Any questions, see Lucy. Ronnie and Jennie have made the arrangements to have our next meeting at Country Cookin by George on Alexandria Drive. The meeting will be Thursday, Feb 2nd at 7:00 p.m. YUM YUM!!
