Who knows, I might offer this again sometime in the future.
Kentucky Adjutant General's Report on Kentucky's Union Troops
an index by Brian Harney and Chuck Hensley (Mrs Gary Hensley)

This book, created shortly after the Civil War, at the expense of Kentucky State Government, was printed by John Hopkins Harney (1806-1868), a cousin of mine.   John, owner/editor of the Louisville Democrat, served 2 terms in the State Legislature from Jefferson Co, and was the official State Printer shortly after the war.

This book is divided into 2 sections, the first section for white troops (980 pages), the second section for colored troops (178 pages).   It contains 71,500 entries in the index.   Listed are all of the Kentucky organizations in the war, their creation, engagements, officers and enlisted men, along with mustering-in and mustering-out info, with dates and places.   It also lists Kentuckians buried at the infamous Andersonville Prison, Georgia.

These image files are rather large, but I had to scan the original pages at 200dpi in order to be able to read the fine print.

1) Use the search-request-form to request a search.
2) I'll reply via e-mail as to what I find, how many pages, and will tell you what the charge will be.
3) If you decide to go with it, the charge will be $1 for the first page, and 75 cents for each additional page,
with a big discount if you have a number of pages.
4) Once payment is received, I'll e-mail you the pages as TIF files, which you can view on your PC.
They will look like what you see on the samples above.

Please make your check payable to the Kentucky Genealogical Society, as a tax-deductible donation.
Once I get your email and tell you what I found, I'll tell you where to send your check.
Your donation will help us to index even more material.
