12-Oct-2008 K Mitchell writes: I've been wondering for years about a place I went when I was little. It was in either the late 60's or early 70's. It was some kind of restaurant and I think it was located in Eastwood Shopping Center where China Wok is now. I think it had booths in it that were sort of a light blue - kind of like a Crayola sky blue crayon. My older brother seems to also remember it but my parents don't. Do you know the restaurant and the name? If you know, please let me know via feedback 1-Dec-2008 Lynn Rhorer's mother had a Hallmark Gift Shop next to what is China Wok and he remembers Comley's Restaurant being where China Wok is. A couple of people wrote and mentioned the cafeteria, Blue Boar or Morrisons, but that was across the parking lot. 25-Dec-2008 Scott Hampton thinks the slot car place, run by the Broughtons, was in this spot, but I thought it was a door or two closer to the highway. Which set of Broughtons ran the slot car track place? |
